Terms of Service
Last updated: [DATE]
1. Who we are
Zero Commit is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at [CONTACT EMAIL]. These terms apply to the Zero Commit website and web application (the “Service”).
2. Accepting these terms
By using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. What the Service does
Zero Commit helps you give an LLM context about your project and apply the changes the LLM suggests. It reads responses that follow the Zero Commit protocol, stages the file operations it detects, and can create a branch and pull request in your GitHub repository.
4. You review the changes
LLM output can be wrong, incomplete, or unsafe. Zero Commit checks responses against your project and flags some mismatches, but it cannot guarantee that every error is caught. You are responsible for reviewing all changes before you merge, deploy, or rely on them.
5. Your code and your accounts
- Your code stays yours. We claim no ownership of your code or of the LLM responses you paste into the Service.
- The Service works on your computer or in your GitHub repository. [CONFIRM: no project files are stored on our servers.]
- You are responsible for your GitHub token and any password you set to encrypt a saved token. Keep them secure. Revoke a token on GitHub if you think it has been exposed.
- You are responsible for your use of third-party services such as GitHub, Cloudflare, and your chosen LLM, and for following their terms.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to break the law, to infringe the rights of others, to attack or disrupt the Service or its users, or to access repositories or accounts you are not authorized to use.
7. Plans and payments
Free testing, monthly, yearly, and lifetime options may be offered. Prices are shown on the Pricing page and may change for new purchases. Payments are processed by [PAYMENT PROVIDER]. [CONFIRM: refund policy and billing terms.]
“Lifetime” means access to the Service for as long as we operate it, for the plan you purchased. [CONFIRM: what future updates are included and any exclusions.]
8. Availability and changes
The Service is provided as available. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes.
9. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. [CONFIRM with counsel.]
11. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or put the Service or other users at risk.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION]. Disputes will be handled in the courts of [JURISDICTION], unless the law where you live says otherwise.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
